Broomball

For men and women interested in playing adult co-rec broomball, the City of Edina’s Park and Recreation Department is organizing a winter league.

Registration for the league is under way. Teams of up to 16 people may play in the league, which appeals to the slightly competitive or recreational player. Teams must be registered by Dec. 11, but new players can be added to rosters through Jan. 13, 2009.

Each team will play six to eight games, plus playoffs. League games will be played on Wednesday evenings at Weber Park, 4115 Grimes Ave. S. Championship games will be played at Braemar Arena, 7501 Ikola Way. The entry fee is $300.
