Susan Frame

Susan has been a sumi-e painter for 36 years and has studied with Japanese Master Koroghi. She also studied classical ink painting in China at the China Academy of Fine Arts. Susan has exhibited extensively throughout the world in juried, invitational and solo shows. She has won many awards and has published a book entitled, Beginner’s Guide to Sumi-e.

Her works are in permanent collections at the Museum of Art, Constanta, Romania and the Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile, Ala.
Susan is a member of the Sumi-e Society of America and Art of Ink in America.

Highly sought after, her work is in corporate and private collections.
Susan has been a Faculty member at Edina Art Center since 1980 and has taught many workshops in Florida, Ohio, Alaska and Guatemala.

Susan’s teaches Sumi-e Workshops at Edina Art Center.
