Missing person found

Edina, Minn., Dec. 16, 2009 -- At approximately 10:30 p.m., Tuesday Dec. 15, 84-year-old Jerome Granlund placed a call to his family from the Westin Edina Galleria hotel in Edina and they were reunited after his long 30-hour absence. It appears that the frightened and confused Granlund spent the night in his car, possibly as far north as Aitkin, Minn. Fortunately, after four tanks of gas, he somehow managed to find his way back into Edina. 

The Granlund family is very grateful for the help of the media and the support of friends and the community.
