Overview
Edina has grown from a village of mostly Scottish and Irish immigrants
to a full service metropolitan community. Residential areas comprise the
largest portion of the City, now more than 95 percent
developed. Edina residents enjoy 39 parks, lakes, neighborhood and
regional shopping areas, high-quality medical facilities, family-owned businesses
and major corporations and churches.
