Parking Permit

The City maintains three parking ramps on the Edina side of the 50th and France commercial area. Vehicles can park in the ramps for a maximum of five hours. However, employees working on the Edina side of the commercial area may purchase parking permits to park in designated areas for more than five hours.

Parking permits, which expire April 1 of each year, may be purchased at Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., during regular business hours or online. Proof of employment by an Edina business such as a business card or paycheck stub is required when applying in person. The 50th & France Business & Professional Association will verify employment of those people applying for permits online. The City will mail the permit to the applicant upon verification.

If an employee drives more than one car to work, s/he may purchase two permits for the price of one, provided proof of ownership is furnished for each vehicle at the time of purchase.

Cost is $48 (through May 1). Thereafter, the fee decreases by $4 on the 1st of every month. Buy Online
