Edina Youth Sports Taskforce

The mission of the Edina Youth Sports Taskforce, convened in October 2005, was to define the roles and responsibilities of City staff, Park Board and City Council as it relates to Edina's independently incorporated youth athletic associations. Members of the taskforce were Chairman George Klus, Tom Asp, Mary Brindle, Steve Dove (Athletic Director), Russ Fortner, Molly Friedemann, Keith Harmon, Lynne Morishita, Karla Sitek and Michael Weiss.

At its last meeting, the Youth Sports Taskforce approved a Values & Strategy Document and a Relationship Document. The Park Board and City Council later approved them.
